01

Initial Consultation

Every bespoke piece starts with the germ of an idea - perhaps a pendant to complement an existing bracelet, or a unique ring showcasing a favourite gemstone. I can help you to explore the possibilities during our initial meeting, either in person, via Zoom or over email. During this meeting, we will discuss your requirements including sizing as well as set a budget.

The Design

Once we have discussed your requirements, it's time to get the sketchbook out and explore a few designs on paper. Depending on the project, I will provide up to three pencil sketches of my proposed designs that we can use as a starting point for further discussion. It is easy to make adjustments to suit both taste and budget at this stage. I can provide full colour renderings of final designs for an additional £150.

Creation

As soon as you are happy with your design, I will start work on creating your special piece. I ask for a 50% deposit to cover the cost of materials and any services such as engraving. Throughout the process, I will send updates and work-in-progress photos. This can be quite a time-consuming process as there are many stages involved in even the simplest design such as metal forming, soldering, polishing and hallmarking.

The Finished Piece

I will send you photos of the finished piece for your approval as soon as it is finished. Once you are happy with your jewellery and have settled the final balance, I can arrange delivery to you or directly to a loved one.
